Frodo Kuipers

Frodo Kuipers graduated with great distinction from KASK Ghent (B) in 2001 with his award-winning animated film 'Antipoden'.
During his time as artist in residence at the NIAf, he created two short animated films, including the film 'Shipwrecked', which was internationally highly acclaimed.

Since 2005, Frodo's Studio Mosquito has primarily focused on directing independent films, the most successful of which are "Fata Morgana" (2011) and "Bullet Time" (2016). The latter was selected as the Dutch entry for the 2018 Oscars at the end of 2017.

In addition to his independent films, Frodo regularly makes commissioned work, teaches at the WDKA in Rotterdam and works regularly as a voice actor.
